Kristina Nyholm is an artist experimenting with expression of self, in the Medway Photo Festival, looking to her diagnose: Narcolepsy.
Diagnosed at the age of 14 after a vaccine, her life turned upside down. “Reminiscence” is projecting the feeling of distance and the diffusion with having this diagnose to the relation of reality. As sleep is an essential factor in the message of the prints, the artist looks to rather the feeling of, and lack of, as to informing of the personal notion without too much distance.
